The gray trees of my memories
seem to fly by,
without regrets to my debts.
They just set me free so I can be me,
on dreary days of gray.
I'll live life my way.
Moonlights are a blur
as I speed by humanity,
not knowing what will occur
on this journey to insanity,
in spite of man's vanity.
But at least I know
my soul can grow,
in my tenacious search for true love,
others genuinely rise above.
Dreary days and gray days are these,
some bring men to their knees.
While speeding by blind
yet some lose their minds,
in search of true passion,
never letting die human compassion.
It looks like a million stars of humanity.
Under the white clouds of heaven
lives the love of humanity.
Could the skies get any bluer,
not as long as their insanity,
the destruction of the land,
feeds mankind's ignorant vanity.
The highways and bi-ways of the land
seem to change with a blur.
My leaving was never planned,
it seemed like the magic wasn't there.
It was time to take to the open road,
but it doesn't seem like our love has grown,
As the wondrous lights of heaven shine down upon God's creation.
