Golden as that of noon,
yet as mysterious as the midnight,
an open book of life
is what you are to the world.
You do not hide like the sun
behind the clouds of gray dusk,
nor do you walk away
from the trials and tribulations of life.
You stand tall and proud,
like an eagle's quest flying silently
stretching for the sky
like an oak tree strong and reaching.
Your heart on your sleeve
enabling love to enter passionately,
as true romance grows
in your heart of a true human being.

This is a wonderful poem of encouragement, to the one who can sometimes feel down.
I can sense on the other end, that person can occasionally feel lost. Though, the poet is there to uplift them, in straightforward reassurance.
Or… perhaps its occasional realization by the poet that this other person cannot be anything more than strong. It’s beautiful to make a person notice their strength, not all their flaws. We, as people of this world, are not meant to act as though we’re the only one with a standing. It doesn’t take politics to understand that. Lol.
It’s always a good thing to do, to keep steady those we care about. 🙂
Sorry I didn’t comment sooner, have not felt well as of late. Poets are observers of the human condition, whether it be about love, social issues or the state of environmental situation. All poets can do is bring to the attention of the world its problems and hopefully someone will take notice.
