Sorrowful tears are streaming down my face
our parting ignites my heart to the core
As I witness your tears run dry once more
never to occupy my secret place.
As birds fly as do seasons away
so does love in blackness of nightmares
We should condemn ourselves for love's decay
of the unblessed future of caution's care.
Instead reward our faith's efforts at all
closure calmly haunts or the lack thereof
To deliberately fade away love's call
fly high for peace on free wings of the dove
We must declare farewell to the cursed past
never to worry the dark shadows cast.
