Time and time again
I don't no how I lost my best friend.
Was it to the stars in his eyes.
that started to collide
with the wandering voice in his head.
The defiling of his sacred temple
went to far, he lost his faith
in who he was, his path in life.
His tarnished heart
lead his head in the wrong direction.
He tasted the bitter pill
instead of the sweetness of life.
His euphoria was not of love of self,
but that which destroyed him.
Losing grace, falling to the ground,
hitting hard, losing his wings,
now he's on the devil's lost level.
