“Remember Our Time In The Sun”

Not to far from here,
is the soul of who we were
after one kiss freed
our caged spirits from lonely nights.

Under the palm trees
upon sand dunes of forever more,
intoxicating the heart,
with a fever torrid as the Summer sun.
Tasting of passion

was never so sweet as that moment,
entwining like shadows
were our bodies of the darkest romance.
Could it be my love. . .

that but which freed us of the alone
shines just as bright,
forever basking in its warm eternal glow.
