“Dreams As Big As The Sky”

The taste of death
lingers in the memory of the living,
when love dies slowly,
the heart withers upon the vine.

Bitterness as the tears
shed on a Spring morning,
leading to sunny Summer days,
persisting into crisp Autumn nights.

The demise of all
lies in a Winter's midnight,
chilled to the bone in no embrace,
unless hearts are open to true love.

As wide as the sky
as big as forever is forever needed,
or even the seasons
will not change man's thinking.
