Upon bent knee I sincerely implore,
are my pleas of love easily ignored,
as is the romance in my broken heart.
Yet it is your soul I truly adore,
upon my true love never shut the door,
please cherish it like exquisite fine art.
Let not discontentment thunder ashore,
let it fly free as an Eagle does soar, as long as sweet passion does not depart.
To me our love is just not just of folklore, not just like some passionless silent war,
a journey we have taken from the start .
An eternity this hunger shall last,
paying no attention to shadows cast.
