When you see me in the night,
do you feel my soul's light,
or is it not what you need to breathe.
Not as big as the silver screen,
nor a romantic love scene,
like a cowboy riding into the sunset.
Can you say that you love me,
does that set your soul free,
or do you need a sensual sandy shore.
Waves rolling over our bodies,
entwining in love's passion
on a secluded beach for an eternity.
Is your faith for me still alive
hoping our love survives,
like an intimate noir slow motion film.
A romantic comedy of sorts,
where love wins in the end,
so this won't be our last picture show.
